Who we are:
Tailgreeter is a digital marketplace that makes tailgating accessible and easy for fans by helping them join a tailgate with a few clicks. You can think of us as the Airbnb of tailgating. We created a technology platform that allows tailgate hosts to turn their events into a business by providing them with paying customers for something they were already doing. With these tailgates listed in the marketplace, fans are able to search, book a tailgate, and then simply show up and enjoy the experience.

About the role:
You will take ownership of the strategy, implementation, and optimization of all performance marketing campaigns to support our ambitious customer growth and financial goals. Your responsibilities will include creating digital acquisition and retention strategies that encompass social media marketing, SEO, SEM, content creation, distribution and amplification, and supporting host and guest acquisition.

While you’ll have support, we’re hiring this person to be our resident expert. You must be willing to own Digital Marketing at Tailgreeter and be the ultimate self-starter. With success and progress, you will have the ability to hire, train, and develop a team.

As Digital Marketing Director, you will be responsible for:

  • Planning and executing digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including SEO/SEM, email, social media, etc.
  • Establishing an analytics framework to measure customer lifetime value (LTV) and key performance indicators (KPIs) for digital marketing initiatives
  • Brainstorming new and creative growth strategies to generate high-quality leads and overall growth for Tailgreeter
  • Evaluating, optimizing, and improving the end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and touchpoints
  • Reporting on digital campaigns, website analytics, and business-related KPIs weekly, including MQLs, pipeline, and ROI
  • Building and executing email campaigns to generate leads
  • Analyzing and improving current email marketing campaigns
  • Using automation to improve processes and productivity, and making recommendations to support rapid scaling
  • Creating campaigns to track leads with correct tracking in place
  • Analyzing lead flow and identifying areas for improvement, and developing insights on performance
  • Leading the Creative team in designing, building, and growing Tailgreeter's social media audience.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of proven working experience in digital marketing, particularly within the marketplace and sports tech industries
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media, and/or display advertising campaigns
  • Solid knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools
  • The ideal candidate should possess a natural drive for discovery and innovation, constantly seeking out new test ideas, strategies, channels, and industry disruptions.
