Backend Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled backend developer to join our company. In this role, you will design, create, and implement various Java Spring-based solutions for the business to improve the quality and feature set of the Amberscript platform.To be successful as a backend developer, you should have a specialist level of understanding and skill in developing a broad range of applications and proprietary solutions. You feel comfortable to work independently and are able to deliver top-quality, error-free work on time.

You are the safekeeper of releases and can make sure every release is delivered on time and in the right quality.
You will take ownership of multiple Java Spring microservices and will increase local development efficiencies.

Your profile

• You have 3+ years experience in Java-based programming and other languages being a major plus.
• You have knowledge of current frameworks, SDKs, APIs, and libraries and a strong motivation to build new features and improve existing code
• You know how to interpret briefs to create high-quality code that functions according to specifications.
• You have exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• You like to help the team grow and know how to mentor younger developers.
• You are proactive, a self-starter, good at communicating in English and a fast learner.
• You are able to work in Belgrade
