Recognized as the Apple Top 100 Apps in the world and fastest-growing start-up in Spain in 2018, our team is currently looking for a Chief Business Officer to take our expansion to the next level by driving growth and scaling the company.

Who you are
We are looking for a distinguished leader (CBO) with a proven track record of building and scaling businesses, ideally in the electronic and clubbing scene, as well as the ticketing industry.
As part of our executive team, you'll report directly to our CEO and be responsible for crafting our sales strategy, driving revenue growth, and securing Xceed's spot as a market leader, starting in Europe (with limitless potential for expansion!).
In this role, you'll lead the entire business department, overseeing the Director of Venue & Promoter Partnerships, who will report to you on each country's sales progress. This way, we can ensure that our sales strategy lines up with our goals and that all our initiatives are geared towards results.
What will you do
- Define, implement, and execute the company's global sales strategy, working closely with the CEO and other key stakeholders.
- Drive growth and optimize processes in the Business department by reviewing bottlenecks, streamlining workflows, and fostering a culture of innovation and data-driven decision-making.
- Consolidate Xceed's global presence by building and maintaining key relationships with influential players and relevant partners in the industry (venues, clubs, festivals, and event organizers).
- Strategically source and close deals with partners, while contributing to building a continuous sales pipeline.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to identify new channels and opportunities for growing the project on a global level.
- Work closely with the product team to provide feedback and ideas, as well as to develop market-specific propositions.
- Identify strategic partnerships and opportunities for building synergies in local markets, while maintaining a results-driven focus and meeting targeted sales goals.
- Serve as a thought leader and spokesperson for the company, speaking at events and engaging with the media to promote Xceed's mission and vision.
- Build and lead a high-performing Business department, attracting top talent and fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
- Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of the electronic and clubbing scene, as well as the ticketing industry, staying up to date on the latest trends and opportunities.
What we are looking for
- You are a part of and well-connected with the local nightlife scene, especially with clubs, festivals, and organizers
- A proven track record of building and scaling businesses, delivering results, and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams and managing high-performing departments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with a variety of stakeholders and represent the company effectively.
- A strategic mindset, with the ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies and identify new opportunities for growth.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to inform decisions and drive results.
- Fluent (possibly native) in English and at least 1 (ideally 2) of the following languages: German, French, Spanish, Italian or Portuguese.
