What You Need for this Position:

Go Moment's Full Stack Engineer position requires an experienced self-starter who is ready to work at one of the most exciting startups in LA. Working closely with product and operations, this person will play an integral role in enabling and enabling Go Moment’s continued scaling. We’re looking for a keen problem solver, a tech enthusiast, and a master of productivity – someone with strong execution skills who knows how to get things done.

Required Attributes:

• 4+ years software architecture / software engineering / sysadmin / infrastructure / cloud administration / senior tech leadership experience
• Strong experience with Ruby on Rails, other server-side systems, and JavaScript
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks/libraries such as React (preferred), or jQuery/Angular/Vue
• A passion for speed: blazing fast page loads required
• TDD/BDD Experience
• Some DevOps experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional setting
• Enjoys being in a collaborative, casual, and modern office environment

Bonus skills/Not Required:

• Knowledge or experience with CSS preprocessors SASS or LESS
• Usability expertise, especially with regards to mobile-first and responsive front end development
• Mobile development experience
• AI & NLP experience

Stack:

• Ruby on Rails codebase
• Angular
• Heroku/Postgres/Redshift
• Copious amounts of async jobs via Sidekiq
• Lean and clean HTML/CSS front-end
