Job Summary:
Inertial Measurement Units are a fundamental part of modern consumer, automotive, and industrial electronics. Anello is developing a next generation IMU sensor technology based on silicon photonics. The Electrical Engineer will develop board level hardware including schematic capture, board layout, and board bring up. Component engineering experience is a plus. Candidate must have significant experience with board layout and design using ALTIUM.
Responsibilities:
*Manage ANELLO’s electrical engineering CAD tools and libraries
*Work with entire hardware team to select components and write hardware design specifications for board level assemblies
*Independently design schematics and board layouts of medium to high complexity mixed signal PCBA
*Work closely with Mechanical Engineer to ensure board fitment, clearances, and thermal issues are considered during board layout
*Export accurate manufacturing information to key vendors to ensure board fabrication quality
*Export accurate BOM information to purchasing team
*Inspect first articles for IPC610 workmanship
*Assist with board bring up, debug and standard EE lab work
Requirements:
*Electrical Engineering degree with emphasis on Analog, Mixed Signal, and DSP Design
*At least 5 years of experience using ALTIUM for schematic capture and board layout
*Track record of delivering working product at product oriented companies
*Excellent communications skills (verbal and written)
