Senior Artificial Intelligence Engineer

PolyPerception is an AI-first company with a mission of using AI to have an impact in the waste and recycling industry. We are looking for a Senior AI and Computer Vision engineer who wants to use AI to do good and work on a scalable AI product. As one of the first people to join the team, you will play a key role in building out the product and the company.

You will be working together with experienced AI engineers to:

• try out new SOTA computer vision models
• work on deploying models on edge devices and tuning performance (Nvidia Jetson)
• develop new vision algorithms, e.g for multi-object tracking
• build a scalable data pipeline for training and deploying models
• shaping our AI strategy

Job Requirements:

• ability to guide junior team members
• self motivated and eager to learn
• strong programming skills and fluent in Python
• experience with training ML models in at least one deep learning framework
• experience with computer vision is not required, but a big plus
• fluent in English
• living in or willing to relocate to Belgium
• willingness to travel within Europe to customer sites
