The role you will play:
We are looking for a full-time marketing communications specialist to join our education technology company. This role involves the daily marketing tasks such as, social media content creation, responding to customers, as well as supporting offline exhibitions and events.
You must be physically located in Hong Kong.
About the Novalearn Team:
Our team is small but mighty. You’ll work with the co-founders, Product team, Creative team of editors, and teachers. We are a jack of all trades where you will wear different hats. There is much overlap, but this allows for a touch on different things and discovering your passion at the company.
Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply for this position.
Your main tasks:
- Involved in email and social media campaigns as you work with the Product and Digital Marketing team in executing marketing strategies for user adoption;
- Create graphics using simple art software tools like Canva (knowledge of Adobe Photoshop would be an additional advantage);
- Creative copywriting skills to upload courses, and create scripts;
- Professional writing skills to create posts about company updates;
- Handle social media features ie., Instagram stories, Facebook stories;
- Co-hosting workshops and events to grow brand awareness;
What you will bring to the table:
This role straddles both the creative side and communications side of the company. It’s also an edtech company, so your role will be more flexible than in a marketing agency. On top of this, we are also a fast-growing start-up, so you’ll need to be highly resourceful and able to work independently when necessary. If you have an open creative, collaborative spirit, your ideas will be heard! You might be asked to assist wherever an additional pair of hands are needed, so adaptability is also key.

- Detail-oriented in campaign and event planning
- Ability to multitask as you’ll be doing multiple tasks, sometimes simultaneously
- Highly organized and self-initiated to help keep track of materials

- Fluent in English and Cantonese, both conversational and written (Fluency in Mandarin would be an additional advantage)
- Prior experience at a start-up or in the education
