We are seeking a creative storyteller who takes a customer-centric approach to create compelling narratives and user journeys that maximize conversion by delivering the right message, to the right people, at the right time. You will play in instrumental role in our go-to-market strategy and tactics, including content development, customer insights and segmentation, market strategy, competitive research, product messaging and channel activities for the entire Enable platform.
This position will initially report into the CEO and work closely with our Commercial Operations, Science and Product Management teams. This is an opportunity to be involved in the envisioning, development, and finding product-market fit and scaling with an early venture.
At Enable, you will:
- Identify key personas and create captivating targeted positioning and messaging to better address how we engage our customers
- Understand and document our buyer’s process, including where they get information, and the who, what, when and why behind the decisions they make; then drive changes to our sales and marketing processes based on what you learn
- Be the voice of the customer back to product management and commercial operations - bringing in insights from direct client interactions, conferences, events, as well as deep customer and competitive research and analysis
- Aid in the development of content marketing and thought leadership assets to increase product awareness (articles, blog posts, infographics, etc…)
- Determine the type of advertising and marketing content that needs to be created and distributed
Who You Are:
- Minimum 3+ years’ of experience marketing to academia and biotech/pharma audience
- Master’s or PhD in Biology or similar degree preferred
- You thrive on being a market, customer, and product expert — so you can communicate the value of your company's offerings with confidence
- Experience contributing to go-to-market plans across multiple channels including email, social media, and conferences
- Proven experience developing influential customer-facing messaging and content that drives action
- Ability to think strategically and implement with excellence
- A startup mindset with a passion for building products
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentational skills — you are known for the quality of your writing and storytelling
- Ability to write for a variety of audiences, including technical content
- Excellent people and management skills to interact with colleagues, cross-functional teams and third parties
