More About You
Our Director of Platform Solutions will be based in New York, NY OR Washington, DC and take on a key role in scaling and growing a successful client success, expert education and quality, and recruiting organization. You will lead and manage the entire expert recruitment and expert performance functions of the company as well as play a key role in client success. Therefore, with these two hats, you will report directly to the Head of Corporate Development as well as the Head of Sales and Client Success.
You are a sharp, ambitious, and self-motivated individual. A passionate leader who can execute independently. You’ll be hungry to lead, develop, and manage a lean and effective team and help get client projects and recruiting targets over the line. The successful candidate will come with a start-up mentality (and ideally start-up experience), and imbibe keen strategic and commercial instincts. You will be executing and building out the framework for the Platform Solutions team going forward as well as input on new products, create alignment, and drive prioritization and collaboration across existing and new product functions.
Strong empathy for clients and passion for steep business growth is critical. A seasoned operator with the ability to work effectively across functional boundaries and contribute to broader strategic goals of the company. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and retain client relationships and identify and provide comprehensive solutions for individual customer needs – A desire to go the “extra mile” for clients, experts, and teammates.
*Key Responsibilities *
• Conduct research on a particular topic or industry pertaining to active client projects in order to better understand the criteria needed to identify suitable expert candidates to satisfy client requirements/needs.
• Actively lead team that helps curate in-house innovation, Network Pulse (real-time Q&A tool), client actively
• Actively lead the team recruiting expert professionals to the network and onboard them via the relevant vetting and compliance process.
• Collaborating with the Sales team to deepen relationships with existing clients to promote platform engagement and expanding upsell opportunities.
• Spearhead expert educational efforts aimed at providing tools to our expert community so that they may improve the quality of their end product.
• Manage and provide training and coaching to junior Platform Solution colleagues to better understand, perform and work through their Platform Solutions, recruiting or other tasks. • Regularly work with the technology team to enhance client and expert user experience and interface with existing and new products
• Assist experts with platform and profile queries.
**Qualifications
Basic**
• BA/BS degree or similar college level education.
• Minimum of 5 years professional business experience, predominantly research, operations, account management roles. Candidates with strong research experience preferred.
• Understanding of digital services ecosystem landscape and relationships.
• Track record of success in carrying aggressive quotas and upsell
• Some experience in bringing innovative/market defining products to market
• Strong organizational, planning, analytical, negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Can attract, motivate, develop and retain world-class sales talent.
• Capable of building strong relationships and credibility across the firm, as well as with a broad range of customers.
• A clear, concise communicator and a compelling storyteller—able to convey information effectively to c-suite, engineers, and Board members; and present solutions to client needs.
• Possess the ability to work in a fast-paced, change-oriented team environment. • Location: New York, NY OR Washington, DC
Preferred
• Professional Master’s degree (MBA, MPP, etc.)
• Experience in a marketing performance environment with a solid understanding of SEO and SEM
• SaaS, Local, and Search market experience
• Ability to work in ambiguous environments
