The Role

YepChat powers customer communications for the most respected restaurants in North America. Our platform improves customer service, increases efficiency, and drives digital orders. The company was founded by two MIT classmates.

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced operations and service leader to help us accomplish our mission of disrupting the restaurant communication space. You’ll collaborate with the internal team and our restaurant partners in order to improve efficiencies and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will be the most organized person they know and crazy about efficiency gains! 👈

Responsibilities:

  • Improve internal processes to put us in a position to scale 10x 🚀
  • Interface (mostly via email) with restaurant customers to ensure they're happy with our product
  • Prioritize and project manage our customer requests
  • Determine the smartest way for us to measure customer satisfaction

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Must be based in the United States
  • 2+ years in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Customer service experience in some capacity ("the customer is always right" mentality)
  • Startup-flexible, not discouraged when things change quickly
  • Experience owning something within an organization (department, function, etc.)
  • Highly organized in thought and on paper
  • Utilizes data to drive decision making 📊
  • Burning desire to grow within the organization

Nice To Have:

  • Experience using a support tool like Hubspot, Zendesk, etc.
  • Experience using a ticketing tool like Asana, Jira, Helpscout, etc.
  • Experience using a CRM tool like Hubspot, Salesforce, etc.
  • B2B software experience
  • Restaurant experience of any kind
