Hey! My name is Tara Reed & I'm the CEO of Apps Without Code

Apps Without Code is revolutionary school teaching people how to build their own apps! Our work makes launching a tech company accessible to underdog entrepreneurs: people who don't know how to code, women & people of color. Over the years we've trained 150,000 entrepreneurs in 14 different countries.

As we grow, we're expanding our program to middle schoolers & high schoolers. We're partnering with schools to put our curriculum in their classrooms. We just signed our first school partnership & that's where you come in.

About the Job

You'll be facilitating in-person classes of ~25 students in 6th-12th grade. Those students will watch app building lessons on their computer. They will be building their own app replicas of TikTok, Fitbit, etc using the online curriculum.

Student will take periodic breaks and this is where your faciliation comes in. You'll facilitate the students to do icebreaker/ warm up activities, give feedback to each other on their app progress, and to give bi-weekly presentations on what they've learned thus far. You don't need to be an app building expert, but some familiarity with GlideApps.com & no code app building is ideal.

Time Commitment

2.5 hours per day

• Fall: Oct 17th- Nov 10th (Monday- Friday)
• Winter: Jan 9th - Feb 3rd (Monday- Friday)
• Spring: March 13th- April 8th (Monday- Friday)
• Summer: May 8th- May 19th (Monday- Friday)

About you

• Live in Seattle area
• You have prior experience teaching middle school & high schoolers
• Experience presenting to a class with high energy & not making the class boring
• Comfortability with no code app building or GlideApps.com
• Confidence keeping control of a room where everyone has different questions & circumstances
