Data Engineer Intern

The Job:
You will be responsible for-

• Developing scripts to process structured and unstructured data.
• Work with streaming/reactive architectures and setting up data pipelines on cloud infra.
• Develop a complex ELT infra, a reactive streaming architecture and a cloud-native, highly available API for our customers.
• Recommending, developing and implementing ways to improve data reliability, efficiency and quality.
• Supporting translation of data business needs into technical system requirements.
• Deploying and maintaining Data Science & Analytical models in production.
• Extraction, transformation, loading and integration of data from various sources.

Ideal Candidate:

• You are pursuing or possess a degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering or related field.
• You possess strong knowledge of Python and SQL
• You possess problem-solving ability and passion for big data
• You take ownership of your projects and deliver work with a high degree of accountability
• You pay strong attention to detail and deliver work that is of a high standard
• You are highly goal driven and work well in fast paced environments
• You are a self-starter and demonstrate a high level of resilience

Good to Have

• Exposure to NoSQL databases, Extraction, Transformation & Load (ETL)
• Knowledge of Data Warehousing, Data Lakes and Big Data
• Exposure to working with business, operations & product teams
