Senior Executive - Digital PR (Malaysia)

As a Senior Executive in the Content Marketing team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with local media companies for your assigned market (Malaysia) and for developing insightful, newsworthy content that is cited / referenced regularly by these media companies.

Media Relations:

• Build and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders in local media companies
• Establish our company’s brand positioning as an authority in e-commerce research by regularly pitching interesting content ideas to local media for them to publish, and ensuring the company brand and domains are regularly cited in key media across the region
• Understand each media partner’s niche and readership in order to consult on potential insights from company’s research that they can leverage for their publications
• Key spokesperson for all external communications with local media, particularly for matters related to e-commerce research and company’s published thought leadership pieces

Content Ideation and Development

• Collaborate with team members to generate ideas for newsworthy topics related to e-commerce or consumer behaviour
• Develop outstanding and insightful content through a rigorous writing process which includes researching relevant industry trends in the region and ideating creative angles for localising research insights
• Work with team lead and content strategist to structure requests to in-house Business Intelligence teams for useful data and analyses to support content development and ideation
