AI Products/Technical Co-Founder/Head of Engineering [YC Backed, Singapore/Bangalore]

Hey, I'm Tanmaay, Founder @Apollo (Apollofirst.xyz) YC W22. We are backed by YCombinator, along with several prominent Founders & Investors we respect. Our first product, BizFirst.xyz, is already live in the blockchain space.

Now, we are working on a few exciting AI projects. With the team, partners, capital, and strategy all in place, we are actively seeking a "true" technical co-founder to join this venture. Together, our goal is to build a large and successful mission-driven business over the next decade.

For the right candidate, there is a significant equity stake available, making you a genuine owner of the business in every sense of the word. We believe in fostering a collaborative and ownership-driven environment to achieve remarkable success together.

**Location: Singapore or Bangalore

The Company

Apollo is building products for the Future Frontier Markets (both in Consumer + Enterprise). Our first product, BizFirst.xyz (blockchain), is already live.

Currently, we are developing a few AI products in the Fintech/DevTool/SaaS category. These are early days, and we are just getting started.

Expectations

Your job is as follows:

• Build world-class customer-focused products.
• Manage and run the engineering team. This company will have some solid product and engineering challenges, and we need someone who can do both. Ideally, you have a CS background and actively code. No matter what, you must be able to hire and run an engineering team of at least 5-10 engineers without any CTO alongside you. You have a set of engineers you’ve worked with in the past that want to work with you again.
• Co-founder. You will be engaged in company-defining activities such as setting the culture, pitching investors, and public relations.
• Hands-on. You are not just a manager - ideally, you and one other person can build and ship products independently. We are very hands-on, so you must get your hands dirty!

Experience

We are open-minded about the experience and to candidates. Here are some pointers:

• Founder experience. You have built a product from scratch and scaled it to a wide audience. Ideally, you did this as a founder + CTO/CPO/CEO at your own startup.
• Recruiting + management. One of your job's core challenges is recruiting and managing a team. Ideally, you’ve managed a team of at least 5 people in your career, half of which were engineers.
• Relevant industries. We are open to anyone, but ideally, you’ve built products that required you to simplify something that was otherwise complex such as Fintech, Banking, Mobile Payments & Blockchain.
• Diversity. We will work hard to build a diverse team from the beginning. Our focus is on ensuring everyone on the team feels safe and valued. Ideally, you make people feel comfortable no matter their background and have a track record of leading diverse teams.
