The Role

You can Framebridge just about anything. And we have. A million custom framed pieces and counting.

Each piece has a compelling story behind it and we are looking for a Content Strategist to tell these stories and inspire more people to frame the things they love. The ideal candidate is passionate about storytelling, drawing upon their editorial experience to craft our consumer-facing content strategy and develop and iterate on content that inspires. They are passionate about consumer trends, pop culture, and interior design and they stay ahead of emerging trends and designers. They thrive in a busy, dynamic environment and love collaborating across Marketing to develop content that spans mediums, channels and needs. The Content Strategist will manage the Content Marketing Team and will closely collaborate across all facets of Marketing to engage and grow our Framebridge social community.

This position can be remote but will need to travel on a regular basis to our office in Washington, DC with preferred candidates in DC or New York.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for setting and executing the overall editorial content strategy across Marketing, with an emphasis on owned and operated channels.
  • Translate brand insights, trends, and business needs into emotionally resonant and strategic briefs and storytelling content for calendar moments and evergreen brand initiatives.
  • Source real customer stories for use in creative (ads, emails, site), with a goal of evaluating how we serve up these stories and how we can make them as compelling and engaging as possible across channels.
  • Regularly review engagement and growth analytics in order to determine whether specific content has achieved its objectives and make recommendations regarding strategy moving forward.
  • Develop the brand's voice standards and messaging strategy to drive brand consistency and add depth to how we communicate with our customers.
  • Proactively pitch new ways for our brand to tap into emerging design trends and collaborators in the home decor space.
  • Re-assess and develop a strategy for our blog, identifying how the blog fits into the larger content ecosystem and executing against all blog content needs.
  • Assess SEO findings and mine for insights to inform content gaps.
  • Manage and lead Social Strategist, Influencer Coordinator, and Community Manager who will execute strategy across organic & paid social channels.
  • Work closely with the Copywriter who will execute long and short-form content across marketing.

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience, ideally with a background in editorial content development or copywriting. Experience working with consumer-facing brands.
  • Deep understanding of content strategy and creation. Passionate about telling consumer stories and mining for real insights that inform new pieces of content.
  • Extremely skilled at writing, narrative storytelling and editing all forms of marketing copy.
  • Strong organizational skills with an ability to adapt quickly as priorities shift or direction evolves.
  • Passion for the interior design or home decor space is required.
  • Undergraduate degree (or equivalent) in a related field.
