The Role

The convergence of software, hardware, cybersecurity, and infrastructure in IT, Digital/Web, Engineering, and Operations is accelerating rapidly. In response, Wisconsin Public Media (WPM) is seeking a visionary IT leader to design and implement a cohesive strategy that aligns the technology needs of Wisconsin Public Radio and PBS Wisconsin.

The IT Director will report to the Executive Director of Wisconsin Public Media and oversee all IT operations, including five direct reports, participate as a member of the WPM leadership team, and coordinate division‐wide strategy in all areas of IT. The strategy for our division includes alignment with our state agency partner, Educational Communications Board, the University of Wisconsin‐Madison, and the technology initiatives of NPR and PBS.
