We are seeking
We don’t care if you have a university degree or not. What we are after is someone who knows how to build a community. A proven expert in the online community manager space who will act as the voice of our project. We will value a like-minded team member who is intent in being part of a unique and first of its kind start-up opportunity; an opportunity aimed at positively impacting the entire news platform globally by disrupting fake news. You will know how to solicit conversations via the various social channels, and you will know how to turn a negative into a positive. You will also know when to simply say nothing.

You will need to be a confident, fast thinking, positive, energised and socially savvy individual. You will need to develop and deploy strategies that will successfully generate popular interest and user uptake of our ideology and platform. A strong candidate will be a low-ego team player and will have done this before. At minimum, you can demonstrate that you have built your own personal brand using socials and demonstrate your success by highlighting your community of followers.

Who we are?
Based in South-East Queensland, Australia, our Vision here at JulianX is to help rid the world of untrusted, un-fact checked and truthless media content.

Our platform will allow users to verify the validity of content and in doing so users will earn trust scores. The higher the trust score the more the user can build a strong and trusted digital reputation. Though on the flip side if a user wishes to post a video highlighting that the “world is flat” the community will deem it, quite frankly as absurdly untrue, and in turn based on evidence the trust score will decrease for the producer and its content.

What we are trying to do is raise the profile of those who are honest and support evidence-based principals while at the same time reducing the noise of those who insist on propagating fake news. Over and above trust scores, we have created a community-based, digital rights business model that will allow professional and amateur video photographers and photojournalists to transmit, store and license their content. Using our customisable smart contract platform, content producers can modify license terms as they see fit. No lawyers, no third-party controlling interests, and no barriers.

Additionally, users will also be able to sell NFTs and will earn them income based on the licensing of the content. This is taking NFT’s to the next level, embarking on a new and unique business model that has never really been done before.

We also want to bring accountability to our politicians. As we all know, there is a serious lack of transparency to the public. Too often, politicians say one thing and do another, and unfortunately there is no personal accountability. We want to change this!

We will also become the defacto “Oracle of Decisions” by recording all political voting data directly on the blockchain to will help improve transparency between our politicians and their constituents’. Users will be able to simply lookup a political party, a specific politician’s “Bill” or piece of “Legislation” and view how they voted. Using our technology, we will be able to proactively send local voters the results of these votes. We will also provide politicians with the means to provide their rational to voting in a particular way and to justify “the why”. While transparency and accountability are key, we want to create a platform that will give politicians the opportunity to talk to us, therefor allowing the community to determine if what they are saying makes sense or is true or not!

JulianX is a significant blockchain project that could redefine how media content is monetized globally. It is a user centric, smart contract system providing a means to capture media content while maintaining your digital rights, verifying integrity, and reducing the volume of fake media.

Accountabilities
With global reach in mind:
• Manage JulianX online communities on social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Reddit, Discord, Island, and others worth investing time in
• Solicit conversation and feedback
• Identify and stay on trend with other popular platforms to capture JulianX audience to grow our reach
• Respond to messages, queries, complaints, and customer reviews on digital channels
• Develop and implement targeted strategies to increase customer and user engagement on social media
• Develop, plan, and deliver campaigns and host events boosting awareness
• Use analytics tools to identify, interpret, track, report and monitor online and web performance in line with social media metrics including community engagement, take-up and JulianX sentiment
• Create and implement social media content calendar in liaison with team
• Establish online community guidelines for JulianX.

Skillset
• Proven experience as a community manager/ and or influencer
• Strong communication skills, including content creation
• MUST be fluent in written English
• Must be fluent in social communication utilising English
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Strong marketing capability
• Demonstrable PR, event coordination and delivery capabilities
• Very high-level aptitude with social media tools
• Strong aptitude with media analytics and monitoring tools
• Must have a positive social media reputation
• Confident ability & desire to develop an active & growing online community, supporter base & user-group
• Strong understanding of blockchain and cryptocurrency environments
• Ability to implement strategies to drive up-take
• Critical thinker and problem solver
• Ability to comprehend and develop a good understanding of blockchain and cryptocurrency environments and user personas.
Highly regarded
• Be like-minded to our vision
• Familiar with the Cardano ecosystem is a strong plus
• Strong knowledge of news and media platforms with related and reliable contacts
• Ability to work within an agile environment using Jira or similar tooling.

Conditions
• About 10 hours per week
• Remote working.

Benefits to You
We are in start-up mode, and we are looking at completing two rounds (at minimum) to secure funding.
Initial compensation will be based on our tokens. Once funding is secure, we would then look to negotiate a salary. Note: so please note the salary indicated in the job ad is simply to complete the cell - Real Offer Terms are laid out during interview.

This is an opportunity for you to shape a potentially game changing idea into reality.
