Today, we estimate that approximately half the World’s population has justice needs that are not met. Whether people are wronged by a greedy landlord, an insurance company reluctant to cover an unfortunate accident or a business partner that broke its promise, they often give up on seeking justice as the process is too complicated, time consuming or expensive.
We think the solution is to connect people with legal problems with lawyers that specialize in those problems. Think of it as a marketplace within a social community.

About your role
You will revolutionize the way legal services are booked and consumed, through a state of the art digital purchasing experience and a modern portfolio of marketplace fintech product offering.
By positioning Rightstars as a payment facilitator, you will enable the platform to fully accompany the lawyer-client relationship from the negotiation stage to the fulfillment and checkout.
You will own a vision and roadmap encompassing up and cross sell capabilities including installments, cancellation flexibility, money-back guarantee, etc.
You will also own the relationship with potential partners in the payment area, in a global context as we roll out our product on several markets (in and out payment gateways, cross-border cash-flow management…).
You will make sure that our platform is PCR compliant, and that price displays and customers invoicing (clients, lawyers..) are designed to be fully compliant to applicable market standards (price breakdown, tax and surcharges are displayed according to the law etc.).
We have a small team, and expect you to be hands-on, conceptualizing the fintech backend and writing requirements for our developers in order to build modules completely from scratch such as:
- In-payment
- Recurring payments management (subscriptions)
- Configurable pricing and discount management
- Billing and invoicing
- Payment reconciliation mechanisms
- Financial reporting database
- Suppliers virtual accounts
- Out-payments

Need to have
- Established track record in building complex fintech products for digital products, either consumer facing or SaaS B2B, preferably with experience in marketplaces, as a product manager, or in a commercial or financial role with a strong “product development” hat (meaning working very closely with engineers in an agile environment) and a focus on execution and delivery
- Business and project management understanding
- Passion for doing good
- Leadership skills
- Experience in working with engineers and payment service providers
- Fluent in English
