THE MISSION:

You will be responsible for elaborating and delivering improvements of our international products for Hector Kitchen and Holidog. Our Product Manager will play a key role in the shaping of our product, while building long-term strategy that supports our vision. This role represents lots of responsibility; lots of potential to use your technical skills and business aptitude. You will be the driver across Marketing, Data, I.T. and Customer Happiness teams to see the bigger picture, strategise and innovate:

  • Strategy: Identifying product requirements with business stakeholders whilst meeting customer needs.
  • Product Roadmap: You build product roadmaps and backlog in line with strategic goals.
  • Best Practices: You write clear User Stories at feature level, drive the UX design.
  • Reporting Product Performance: Product planning and delivery.
  • Tracking Progress: You measure and monitor product performances after releases, racks the progress being made towards the wider goals of the team, and transparently communicates this with the CEO, COO and CTO.
  • Leadership: Communication and stakeholder management (development process and expectation management).
  • Testing Attitude: You are an expert in A/B testing and prototyping best practice.
  • Continuous Improvement: You ensure continuous improvements by proposing and implementing new processes, designs and engineering practices that make the team more effective. Always Test, Learn, and Iterate.
  • Communicate: You evangelise the work of the teams to other teams and potentially publicly (blogs / speaking etc). Communicates across the company, and also externally, in a clear, concise manner.

YOUR BACKGROUND AND SKILLS:

At Hector Kitchen, we are looking for determined, passionate and forward thinking individuals who are strongly driven by digital innovation. By joining the adventure you will be able to embrace our vision and develop our products in ways that will increase sales but also disrupt the pet-tech market. You will be a strong candidate for the role if you match the following:

  • Language: You are a French native speaker and fluent in English. Spanish is a plus.
  • Professional Background: You have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role. You have experience working with digital products and you are knowledgeable about B2C online marketplaces.
  • Main skills: You are fluent in UX, AB Testing, Product Benchmarking, Agile and Bankan Methodology. Certifications such as Iron Hack or Le Wagon are a plus.
  • Tech savvy: You are passionate and knowledgeable about the tech world.
  • Achievement: You take ownership of projects and you are extremely organized. You have strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Data oriented: You decision making heavily relies on data analysis. You have strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
  • Communication skills: You have strong communication skills and you can quickly understand stakes and expectations. You are able to break bigger ideas in simple concepts. Clarity and direct communication are a must.
  • Proactive: You are attentive to your surroundings and you can proactively assess needs and come up with efficient solutions.
  • Ownership and growth: You are invested in your work, and are willing to recognize and learn from your mistakes.
  • High standards: You are rigorous and reliable. You take great pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success.
  • Adaptable: You prove to be flexible and you thrive in an agile work environment, you can adapt quickly and face challenges with optimism and enthusiasm.
