Position: We are looking to hire an entry-level instrumentation and control engineer. The applicant will work closely with the Magnetic Tides R&D group, led by the developer of our new NIBS technology. Duties will include electrical and electronic design, hardware building, system control software development, integration of peripheral hardware with our NIBS system and interacting with hardware manufacturers to meet system specifications.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in bioengineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or a related discipline; Experience in computer coding to control instrumentation; Previous experience in the biomedical field is a plus, but not essential; Experience with instrumentation control using the Matlab Data Acquisition Toolbox or similar coding environment is a plus.
Professional Competencies: MatLab programming experience necessary, C/C++ programming experience desirable, circuit building experience, experience high power current/voltage sources desirable.
