Finverse’s mission is to help people exercise full control over their own financial accounts. We are an ambitious VC-funded FinTech startup building an open-banking API to allow developers and FinTechs to access consumer and business data from any Asian bank ("Plaid for Asia"). We are looking for an energetic, dynamic business development go-getter to lead and support our business and go-to-market efforts across the region, to bring Finverse to organisations looking to give their users direct access to their own financial data. You’ll be a key member of the Growth team engages with promising leads and builds awareness about open banking and its benefits for potential partners—whether they are the business or technology owners of an emerging FinTech or a C-level key decision maker at a well-established company.
This impactful role will be partnering directly with the Head of Growth (former YC founder with global growth background) and CEO (former Product Manager at US FinTech unicorn) to drive our growth strategy across data and payments use cases. This role is a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial leader to grow a high-quality B2B / SaaS FinTech platform with a strong product DNA.

Job location: Singapore, Malaysia, or other Southeast Asian countries (flexible)
What you’ll be doing:
- Source, negotiate and sign mutually beneficial partnerships with the top-tier FinTechs in lendtech, personal finance, investing, crypto, and other relevant verticals
- Constantly build relationships by leveraging existing networks, connecting with target customers, and attending industry events to secure meetings with key decision makers
- Become a Finverse expert to confidently speak to open banking trends, new product features, and platform improvements to help our potential customers realise their full potential and accomplish their goals.
- Own your number - consistently hitting account and revenue goals for your specific market
- Become a keen observer in the local FinTech community to identify and leverage unique growth and partnership opportunities
- Understand the regulatory context as it relates to the product, working with legal teams as necessary, and represent the company and its policy interests with relevant local regulatory bodies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product and other growth colleagues to articulate Finverse's differentiation, value proposition; and highlight business benefits and value
About you:
- University degree or higher, in relevant technical or business field
- A consistent track record of success in B2B sales, business development, or partnerships role, preferably with a FinTech company
- Outstanding organisational, presentation, communication, and time management skills
- Technical expertise and ability to acquire knowledge of new products
- Experience building business relationships with key partners and growing account revenue
- Ability to work on multiple concurrent projects, comfort with ambiguity, resilience to switch gears quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to integrate ideas from many different areas into a common vision
- Self-motivated and high-reaching
- A curiosity about making the sophisticated simple, synthesising multiple ideas into one clear daring statement or recommendation, and converting insight into opportunity
- Strong desire for working in a start-up environment
- Fluent in English, and preferably at least one additional regional language
