Cone & Steiner was founded in January 2014 as a fresh, local, unique neighborhood market. We have two neighborhood stores (Capitol Hill, Pioneer Square) + delivery/online ordering. Responsibilities:

• Provide superior customer service in every interaction and create a positive customer experience
• Learn about our products in all categories, communicate product knowledge to enhance customer experience and sales
• Prepare excellent espresso drinks, delicious sandwiches, and pour beer/wine
• Process incoming grocery deliveries, rotate and stock thoroughly and consistently each day
• Gain proficiency in all POS functions including sales, transfers, inventory
• Maintain signage and visual displays throughout the store
• Assist and participate in store activities (tastings, demos, events)
• Store maintenance and basic cleaning
• Communicate openly and effectively with Team and Leadership

• Friendly, with a true desire to delight each customer
• Strong desire to build community among our customers, team, and vendors
• Love of good food!
• Must be self-motivated and take initiative to see what needs to be done and do it
• Must uphold C&S values
• Strong Time Management Skills
• Retail experience required
• Food + Bev experience requested
• Must have current Food Handlers' Permit at MAST
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
• Must be comfortable with standing/being on your feet for the length of shift
