The Role

The Job
This is a leadership position that requires past experience of having led a sales team.

You will be responsible for:

  • Acquiring and managing relationships with corporate and institutional clients in your area of focus to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
  • Driving volume in the exchange business, as well as marketing our entire ecosystem.
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders to solve client issues.
  • Developing strong internal relationships to optimise service delivery and ensure all practices are in line with internal guidelines and statutory requirements.
  • Drive a high performance, high accountability culture to achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
  • Performing root cause analysis of issues and non-compliance of service levels and work with various stakeholders to identify and implement opportunities for improvement.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of the business by sharing insights, the root causes behind changes in KPI’s, the frequency and impact of these root causes, and your recommendations to course correct as needed.
  • Managing a team of 1-5 highly-skilled managers.

Ideal Candidate

  • At least 8 years working experience in sales and client services function with an international financial background in banking, investment, fintech, custody or cryptocurrency, etc.
  • Client portfolio including institutional clients, crypto funds, asset managers, HNW individuals, brokers, commercial banks, etc
  • Passionate about the crypto/ blockchain industry.
  • You are highly goal driven and work well in fast paced environments.
  • You are a strong mentor and coach who can build high performing teams.
  • You are a strong networker & relationship builder.
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin.

KPIs we track:
We will expect a strong candidate to deliver on metrics including but not limited to:

  • Number of new clients onboarded
  • Total volume of client transactions
  • Revenue & profit generated
  • Management of team
