The Role

Do you have a natural talent for engaging with people and building lasting relationships? Do you want to work with a company that believes there is a better way to do market research?

Protobrand is looking for a sales professional who is in the early stage of their career. Your experience so far has proved to yourself that you enjoy the challenge of making sales and are now looking for a position where building and maintaining relationships play a more important part.

We imagine the ideal candidate being a recent college graduate with a few years of work experience. You are known for being a people person who is not only likeable and personable but has an ability to build enduring relationships through mutual trust and respect.

Protobrand is a technology powered market research consultancy but we don’t require or expect that you know much about this field. We will put you on a path to become a successful client services representative. At the beginning of your career at Protobrand you will participate in a three month trainee program to gain first hand experience of all aspects of our market research process. We believe that the best sales professionals know the most about their products.

Over the course of the trainee program you will gradually be integrated into the client service team. You will have the full support of the client service team and they will help you begin to build your portfolio of client relationships. This work involves a consultative, relationship-based sales process that helps prospects and clients discover value and fit within their organization. You will be responsible for scoping out client projects and developing proposals in collaboration with the research team. Ultimately, you are responsible for closing the deal with the client. You will carry an annual sales quota where your total compensation will be a base salary plus commission on closed sales. Full training and support will be provided throughout.
