Job description:

Anticipated responsibilities

Originate consumer loans: Take applications, collect conditions, and complete a loan file for underwriting decision
Communicate effectively: Converse with applicants on the phone, via chat, email, and text, ideally bilingual (English/Spanish)
Share best practices across a growing team: share best practices, prior experience, new learnings, and challenges across a growing team of MLOs working to disrupt manufactured housing finance
Provide business and consumer needs to engineering convey business needs to internal engineering team for constant technology improvement

Continually improve internal processes: optimize for consumer outcomes, internal efficiency and best in class risk and controls
Manage risk: be the front line for risk decisioning on new loans

Desired qualifications:

Experience

Two (2+) years of experience in loan production, ideally housing related
Education and capabilities

Obtain Mortgage Loan Originator licenses in relevant states
Obtain Insurance Agent License in relevant states (optional)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software tools
Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills
Proactive and autonomous worker
Undergraduate degree or extended relevant work experience
Leadership

Consumer outcome-oriented and ability to inspire the team to do great things for homebuyers
Comfortable in an uncertain, fast-paced environment that will evolve as our technology and business scales
Collaborative and innovative with a strong desire for the entire team to win together
