The Role

Square 32 is an award-winning marketing and communications agency built for education. Drawing on over 15 years of experience from the classroom to marketing, the team at Square 32 creates and executes marketing strategies for innovative companies who are redefining teaching and learning.

We are looking for an experienced Business Development representative to boost our Marketing Agency sales efforts. The ideal candidate will be proactive, process driven and have a passion for learning and continuous improvement. You'll be well versed in sales for service based agencies and confident in securing and hosting initial prospect meetings.

The Business Development Role and Responsibilities:

Initiate relationships with new prospects through direct outreach
Engage with, nurture, and follow up with existing prospects or leads
Managing leads and converting to initial meetings
Coordinate and host initial meeting to qualify opportunity, identify next steps
Ensure client requests for marketing materials, collateral or proposals are delivered
Support with the development of case studies and sales collateral materials
Provide daily updates on outreach
Leverage CRM and other technology to manage pipeline
Provide recommendations for additional tech tools to increase effectiveness and efficiency

About You
Passion for education, HUGE plus if any past experience in edu
Proven experience in Agency Sales
Curious/empathetic/client centered?/asks lots of questions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong project management skills and ability to multitask
Close attention to detail
BSc/BA in marketing or relevant field
