Role: Customer Engineer

Work Location: Massachusetts, Utah, Illinois, remote(will be considered)

Job Overview:
As a Customer Engineer, you will work with the Sales team to introduce iSchoolConnect to our leads and customers. You will help prospective, existing customers and partners understand the power of iSchoolConnect, brainstorm on the technical and business challenges faced by them, problem-solve any potential technical roadblocks. You will also be part of the team that works closely with Google Cloud and Google for Education on bringing in new business.

Responsibilities and Duties include:

  • Challenge and motivate customers and internal teams to solve difficult problems with ground-breaking and unique solutions leveraging technical and business competences.
  • Work with the team to identify and qualify business opportunities, identify key customer technical objections and develop a strategy to resolve technical blockers.
  • Manage the technical relationship with iSchoolConnect’s customers, including managing product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and the coordination of additional technical resources.
  • Work hands-on with customers to demonstrate and prototype iSchoolConnect’s solutions in customer/partner environments.

Requirement:
Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
  • Some experience in a technical sales or consulting environment or on an enterprise architecture/systems engineering team. Experience with modern technologies.
  • Ability to speak and write in English fluently and idiomatically.
  • Ability to travel as required.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • Experience working with customers in the Higher Education sector.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the broader cloud marketplace and the differentiators in offerings.
  • Ability to quickly learn, understand, and work with new and emerging technologies, methodologies, and
  • solutions in the Cloud/IT technology space.
  • Effective presentation skills, with the ability to deliver technical presentations
