Audio Video Event Technician!

We are looking for A/V technicians for 2021 and beyond! This position is ideal for a person looking for additional income. It equates to 4-8 events per month so it is great supplemental income or an outstanding opportunity for a student/teacher to earn above average wages while having fun on the job! AUDIO VIDEO TECHNICIAN

Blue Moon Cinemas is seeking A/V professionals who can work independently once trained. Ideal candidates take pride in their work and are extremely reliable.

Put your A/V skills to use, have fun while earning great money. Typical hours 5:00PM – 11:00PM Friday and/or Saturday and an occasional weeknight.

Candidates must have either experience operating video projectors and an understanding of signal flow or be a quick study!

Some job details

· Events typically involve 5-6 hours from start to finish.

· Summer events normally run from 6:00 to 11:00 but start times vary depending on sunset at different times of the year.

· At our facility, you will load equipment into your vehicle and transport it to the event location

· Set up of A/V equipment including inflatable movie screen, powered speakers, projector, stands, etc.

· You will be the “event host” and will interact with the client to exceed all expectations

· After set up, you will get to enjoy a movie which the client has chosen

· At the conclusion of the movie, you break down all equipment and return to our facility

Job requirements

· Vehicle capable of hauling equipment – hatch back, SUV, truck, van

· Laptop computer - play music, slideshow, some short video files

· Smart Phone

· Clean background check

· Drivers license

MUST HAVE RELIABLE VEHICLE CAPABLE OF HAULING NECESSARY EQUIPMENT – preferably SUV, pick-up, van, etc.

DMV and criminal record will be investigated. Do not apply if you have alcohol/drug related convictions.
