Role summary

This tech position will allow you to work on cutting edge technologies and join a smart group of people in a fast-paced environment where your talent can shine and your actions can have a real impact on the company's technology in a very short time. You will have a relevant role, joining as one of our first tech team members and reporting directly to YELDO’s CTO.

Main job activities

• Evolution and maintenance of our react-based website, with a great focus on UX/UI design and development
• Backend development, providing new services and exposing them via REST API
• Codebase and cloud environment management
• Design solutions, integrations and data-driven Machine Learning and AI features in our Research & Development lab
  

Profile description

The perfect candidate is a software engineer with a good knowledge of the client-side/server-side lifecycle and its common issues, with proven work experience with React (or similar frameworks like Angular or Vue) and dealing with external services via REST API.

Our day-to-day is challenging and fast-evolving, that’s why we are looking for passion, motivation and creativity: you’ll be asked to design unconventional solutions, be effective in problem-solving, stand up for your design choices and be autonomous in your execution.

Required skills

• JS, HTML5, CSS, SASS/Less, React + Redux (alternatives: Angular, Vue, etc…)
• OOP, C#, .NET Core, SQLServer, EntityFramework (alternatives: Java Spring, NodeJS Express/Koa/Hapi)
• Git/Gitflow and codebase management basics;
• Experience in Azure Cloud management (alternatives: AWS, GCP, Heroku…)
• Experience of AGILE design and development
• Junior: 1+ years of experience on the above technologies
• Senior: 4+ years of experience on the above technologies
• Plus: Experience in microservices environments/Kubernetes
• Plus: Experience in ML (Python, R Lang)

Other important things to know

• Location: Rome, Italy. An option to allow remote working can be discussed.
• Training: a training budget will be available for your personal development both for tech and not-tech courses useful for reaching your objectives and YELDO’s objectives. Eg. big data, blockchain, smart contracts, etc.
• Contract: Full-time position with permanent contract.
• Salary range (Junior): RAL from € 30k to € 40k
• Salary range (Senior): RAL from € 50k to € 70k
