Fulfillment & Logistics Associate

Tailored Industry is an on-demand 3D knitting micro-factory in Industry City, Brooklyn. We are seeking a Fulfillment and Logistics Associate to join our growing team.

The Fulfillment and Logistics Associate is responsible for timely fulfillment of outgoing shipments, and for putting incoming yarn shipments into inventory. We’re looking for a candidate who is organized, and who has computer fluency and speed; basic familiarity with Google Sheets / Excel is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

SHIP ORDERS

-Ship outgoing orders, which range in size from 1 piece, to 500+ pieces, in a timely manner
-Keep track of partial shipments
-Ensure high standards of quality control; outgoing products should be damage-free
-Follow packing specifications of client, which could mean printing size stickers that go on poly bags, or adding a brand sticker to the outside of a package
-Arrange pickups in advance, if necessary

INVENTORY

-Most of our incoming shipments are boxes of yarn; weigh the contents to ensure we’ve received what we ordered
-Add these contents to our inventory

-Manage our stock of packing supplies: boxes, bags, etc, request more when we’re running low
-Manage customer’s personalized packing supplies, request more when we’re running low
