Business Analyst - Finance and Go To Market (Unpaid)

Calling all venture capital, investing, and finance enthusiasts!! Cumulus is looking to recruit a driven individual passionate about the intersection of finance and technology.

Hello! We are Cumulus, a student-led ed-tech startup aiming to help high school students, college students, and experience seekers explore and develop a passion for technology. We want to support students, specifically underrepresented minorities, in finding their dream careers in tech.

Objective: We are recruiting! Our goal is to bring on those who are passionate about our mission and would like to be part of our journey to building our community and platform.

Responsibilities:

• Perform market research and due diligence on venture capital firms, accelerators, and grant opportunities
• Preparing and refining pitch deck, business model, and monetization plan with Head of Business Development
• Generate leads for venture capital firms and accelerators

Qualifications:

• Excellent visual, written, and verbal communication skills
• Coursework or college major in Finance, Business Administration, or related field
• Ability to effectively take direction and work both collaboratively and autonomously
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Passion for fundraising and social impact
• Previous work experience in finance, venture capital or investment management is a plus but not required.
