iOS Application Developer - GPS Vehicle Tracking System Experience Needed

We are looking for an iOS developer responsible for the development and maintenance of applications aimed at a range of iOS devices including mobile phones and tablet computers. Your focus will be development of iOS applications with clean, modern, beautiful, and highly usable interfaces and experiences for our users. You’ll be working alongside engineers and designers, and hence a strong collaborative spirit is a must.

This is Mid-Senior level position that requires prior experience and comes with strong skill and career development opportunities. You will be a part of a team comprising of an iOS Developer, Android Developer, Web & Server Developer and a Front-End Developer. The team’s mission is to develop customer facing applications for the cutting edge consumer technologies developed by Windosoft.

Responsibilities

• Design and build applications for the iOS platform

• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications

• Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features

• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs

• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
Skills

• 2-4 years of experience as an iOS developer is preferred

• Proficient with Objective-C or Swift and Cocoa Touch

• Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, etc.

• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services

• Familiarity with database integration using mySQL

• Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards

• Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines

• Knowledge of low-level C-based libraries is preferred

• Experience with performance and memory tuning with tools {{such as Instruments and Shark, depending on project needs}}

• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications

• Knack for benchmarking and optimization

• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git or SVN

• Familiarity with continuous integration

• Familiarity with native iOS frameworks for GPS, Motion Sensors & Bluetooth

• Prefer a Computer Science Degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s)
