O Positiv is a Los Angeles-based health & wellness brand built on the idea that small acts of self-care produce positive outcomes. We started with FLO Vitamins, the first-ever PMS gummy vitamin, designed to make periods and the symptoms that come with them more tolerable. Our team is small-yet-mighty, with big ambitions and an entrepreneurial spirit. Job Summary

The Director of Marketing will partner with the CMO to develop O Positiv’s marketing strategy, lead innovative initiatives, and coordinate cross-functional projects. As a strategic marketing leader, you’ll gain broad exposure to all functions of a direct-to-consumer e-commerce business – and have the opportunity to innovate and collaborate with teams across the organization.

Strong candidates will have experience in e-commerce, marketing strategy & analytics, and project management. They will be excited to be an innovative entrepreneur and push the boundaries of marketing and e-commerce best practices. They have shown that they can effectively partner with cross-functional teams and make things happen.

The Director of Marketing reports to the Chief Marketing Officer and will work closely with O Positiv’s leadership team to expand the reach and impact of our brand and our products.

Responsibilities and Duties

Shape the strategic priorities of the marketing team

  • Identify opportunities for growth and efficiency based on impact-oriented analyses
  • Develop frameworks and tools to ensure we make data-informed strategic decisions
  • Establish processes to help the team be more productive, impactful, and fulfilled
  • Set realistic-yet-ambitious goals for marketing teams

Build the marketing analytics function

  • Partner with marketing leaders on drawing critical learnings from data
  • Partner with operations leaders to evolve our analytics tech stack
  • Build and update dashboards to measure performance and track progress

Manage cross-functional projects across the organization:

  • Lead cross-functional strategic initiatives
  • Project manage creative and e-commerce initiatives
  • Coordinate product launch activities

Qualifications and Skills

Experience:

  • 5+ years in marketing or 2-3 years in management consulting
  • Experience with strategic planning and prioritization
  • Experience in structured and data-informed problem solving
  • Experience with analytical tools, languages, and platforms
  • Experience in managing projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Bachelor’s Degree

Interpersonal:

  • Strong leadership & communication skills: listen, mentor, and teach by example
  • Ability to manage multiple moving pieces
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Adaptable to new and evolving social platforms and advertising technologies
  • Thoughtful and self-reflective, willingness to learn
  • Team-player, hard-working, organized, and goal-oriented
  • Excitement for startups and building from the ground up

Additional Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Startup and/or e-commerce experience is a plus
  • Passion for e-commerce, consumer retail and/or digital marketing is a plus
