The Role

At Uncapped, we help ambitious founders realise their dreams. Our German Sales Manager will be responsible for owning our revenue activity in this new, growing, and important market. You will improve our ability to sell successfully by learning the most effective, profitable ways to delight customer in Germany.

Ideally, you are a “sales inventor” who is curious, passionate about helping Founders and business owners, and skilled in the fundamentals of tailoring a winning model to the German market. In doing so, you will establish an operational foundation on which to effectively process leads, onboard and train new Account Executives, and close deals with business owners in Germany.

What you will do ✍️
We need a passionate and focused sales expert to establish our revenue presence in the German market, and achieve sales targets and outcomes. Success will be measured by new revenue and customer acquisition, and the effectiveness with which we establish our presence in this important region. This role is critical for promoting brand and value differentiations in this vibrant and growing ecosystem of digital companies.

• Adapt our current sales processes and materials for the German market
• Work the full sales cycle in a new region: follow-up on qualified leads with interested parties; outline Uncapped’s benefits and value; and negotiate mutually beneficial commercial agreements
• Develop and nurture an investment pipeline, providing accurate flow predictions and leveraging our CRM system effectively
• Spot new opportunities and identify ways to introduce our network of partners to support our portfolio of customers and Founders
• Monitor the competitive landscape for new products and market conditions to understand the needs in the ecosystem
• Become a subject matter expert on the investment options facing customer, and how these compare with Uncapped
• Contribute to the ongoing development of sales-related systems, processes, and business practices by sharing recommendations to improve efficiency and capacity
• Lead by example to create an inspiring team environment where ideas are shared and openness is valued as we deliver positive impact to customers

Requirements
Who you are 👀
You are a “sales inventor” who wants to help us establish our revenue model and activity in Germany, and have about 3-5 years of experience closing value-based selling and managing a sales process.
• Solid experience selling B2B solutions in high-growth technology ecosystems, specifically to customers with e-commerce, SaaS, and D2C business models
• Background of working with senior decision-makers, and the knowledge and skills to build deep relationships with Founders and business owners
• A personal style that values curiosity and learning, and a communication style that is “more receive, less transmit”
• Ability to provide insights and recommendations for tailoring our model and offering to German customers
• Excellent German and English language skills (verbal and written)
• High aptitude for cross-functional collaboration and cross-functional influence internally and externally
• Experience effectively managing a regional sales team is not required, although this may be beneficial in the future
