Senior Product Data Scientist

Picsart is looking for an experienced Product Data Scientist. The Product Data Scientist role will lead strategic business decisions by developing and providing data analysis and reporting of complex patterns, insights and trends to internal stakeholders. These insights will help solve highly complex business problems, implement best practices and optimize business performance.

Responsibilities:

• Work with huge datasets - get, clean and analyze them, use advanced and predictive analytics to create reports and intuitive dashboards
• Partner with Business and IT teams to understand data/reporting needs, offer solutions to address specific data/reporting challenges
• Execute on business/technical requirements and build multi-purpose interactive dashboard solutions, based on gathered requirements
• Visualize and make effective presentations to communicate complex findings in a structured way for non-technical audience
• Design and analyze experiments to drive product change the most optimal way possible
• Act as a team lead for a group of scientists, being responsible for team scaling, optimization and learning
• Dig deeper into data and find reasons for trends, and metrics changes
• Integrate new tools to solve problems more effectively when needed
• Define the underlying architecture of data collection

Required qualifications:

• BS/MA degree in Economics, Computer Science or a related field
• 5-8 years of experience working with large data sets from enterprise database platforms, business intelligence development tools to solve complex business problems
• Excellent knowledge of data manipulation languages such as Spark, Python (Pandas, visualization and statistical libraries, etc.)
• Strong experience with BI software (Tableau, Looker, etc.)
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage data collection process, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail
• Strong synthesis skills with the ability to analyze huge amount of data and extract insights that will drive the product
• Proven experience in management with the ability to run a team, excel their knowledge and improve results
• Good communication and knowledge sharing skills, ability to lead and motivate people, settle disputes and transfer knowledge
• Self-motivated, quick learner and innovative person
• Good time management skills and punctuality
• Advanced written and verbal English communication skills.
