Senior Ionic Engineer

Overview
As a Senior Ionic Engineer you'll be spearheading the development and deployment of our flagship digital wealth management application. You'll work on ensuring high performance of the Vive app, allowing our customers to plan their future instantaneous and seamlessly. You care about speed, great UX and reliability while writing code that is readable and maintainable.

Your role

• Build multiple front-ends in our architecture with the main focus on our customer app.
• Lead us to beta, production stage and many releases to come.
• Deploy and maintain a stable and high performant app.
• Own new features from day one, work on brand new front-end functionality, contribute to the design process, and build a user experience that is second to none.
• Work closely with designers, marketeers, and other engineers to build, and launch products and features that will have an immediate impact on the user experience.
• Lead 2 existing Ionic engineers to build a robust architecture and implement best practices immediately, so that our app will be of highest quality form day 1.

Your background

• At least 5+ years of experience in developing with Ionic/Angular. The last few years you've spend in a lead-developer role.
• Solid, hands-on experience with releasing apps to the Apple App Store and Google play Store.
• Experience with properly implementing code quality rules and software (SonarQube).
• Experience with implementing front-end/native app testing tools, like Appium.
• Experience with CI for front-end code bases.
• Experience with the latest best practices on Ionic/Angular architecture. Vive runs Ionic Capacitor and uses a great number of Cordova plugins.
• You love building software, demonstrated through interesting side projects, open source contributions, or other involvement in the tech community.
• You've build with the end user in mind, and you’re comfortable with self-directed learning and teaching on the job.
• Great communication skills, both written and verbally.
