Working at Plek means developing software that thousands of people use on a daily basis. Plek is a communication platform for organizations: it can be used as a social intranet, community platform and collaboration tool for teams.

Team player with ideas

You can work independently but you're also a team player: you will work closely together with our designers, back-enders and other front-enders. The team is small and the vibe is informal, so you can greatly impact what we do. Take initiative, challenge us, show us how it's done!

We are growing rapidly, have a lot of ideas and work with the latest technologies to continuously improve our product. We release a new version of Plek every four weeks. And how does Plek look? Check it out on our demo!

Small team, big plans

Our team consists of 30 employees (6 nationalities), three fish and a cat. We work closely together and like to have fun, at the office and outside of work. We do a Project Soup lunch every two weeks, in which we share results, questions and insights while gorging on a homemade soup.

You are a front-end developer with an eye for detail and design. You transform designs into functional interfaces on mobile and desktop. Your responsibilities?

Input and ideas!
Our application is very user-friendly but runs on advanced technology. You understand this technology and you see opportunities and possibilities to improve our product and to keep it as user-friendly as possible.

You know whether a design is easy or difficult to implement. You can work independently but you’re also a good team player. You work closely with our designers and back-end developers. Our team is small and the atmosphere is informal which means you can have a big impact. Take the lead, challenge us and show us how it works!

Your Responsibilities

• Develop the finest interfaces possible
• Suggest own improvements
• Build new features
• Troubleshooting
• Bug fixing
• Learn latest technologies
• Become best friends with Jelle (office cat)

What else?
3-6 years relevant work experience
Graduate Level
You know how to work with systems such as AngularJS, React or React Native (all three are a big plus).
You understand HTML, CSS and CSS. We prefer and work with SASS.
