Job Overview

A fast growing EdTech Company in career planning, education consulting, and competitive exam preparation space is looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager for its office in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. Candidate should possess both a business development and account management background that enables him or her to drive engagement with respective stakeholders. He/she should also be a self-starter who is prepared to develop and execute against the market needs / trends.

Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for B2B business, by working with schools/ institutes/ universities/ colleges etc. as individual contributors, to achieve B2B revenue targets
• Closely work with internal teams like the delivery team, to ensure that customer commitments are fully taken care of and best learning experience is provided
• Identify growth opportunities and strategize to pursue those opportunities
• Identify and create business risks and mitigation plan
• Establish & track key performance indicators (KPIs) for sales, marketing & business health
• Generate profitable revenue growth through establishing new customers, penetrating new customer accounts and retaining those customers
• Establish, maintain and service accounts, covering full assigned territory to ensure high Customer satisfaction, positive long-term relationships and repeat business
• Effectively assess customer needs, present products and solutions, and close sales
• Person would be responsible for the complete sales cycle starting from lead generation to closure
• Responsible to improve the business and maintain long term relationship with the existing customers
• Communicate with the customers, generate leads and convert those leads to achieve sales targets
• New client acquisition through corporate tie ups and Business Development from new and existing clients by cold calling, followed with client meetings
• Development of proposals, agreements and pitches for prospective clients
• Personal visits to potential customers involving presentations of the company and ensuring maximum customer satisfaction

Required Candidate's Profile:
• 2+ years of experience in consulting/ business development/ sales/ account management
• Willingness and ability to prospect new business
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Track record of meeting and exceeding business established goals
• Ability to self-start and work independently
• Hard working person with a go getter attitude
