Responsibilities:
- Investigate and determine organizational needs.
- Ability to motivate employees.
- Utilizes attention to detail abilities to manage the new employee orientation process; confirms speakers, registration, and materials.
- Handles employment-related inquiries from employees and team managers referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate employee.
- Obtain all payroll data from managers and employees including but not limited to hours, salary adjustments, special payments, tax allocations and employee deductions.
- Coordinates recruitment activities on local level to include creating/posting job ads, scheduling/conducting job interviews, conducting background/reference checks, making new hire pipeline, making hiring recommendations, and on-boarding new hires.
- Position will partner with managers to ensure staffing levels are maintained.
- Create and distribute internal communications regarding status changes, benefits, or company policies.
- Position will build applicant sources by researching and contacting local community agencies and resources; providing organization information, hiring opportunities, and building/maintaining rapport.
- Maintain current knowledge of all HR related laws and guidelines.
- Support HR Manager and Senior Management team in other related work, special projects, and perform other duties as assigned.

- Coordinate open enrollments, changes, and training for employee benefits programs.
- Assist in the full hiring process of employees, including recruitment, interviews, verifying work-history and references, and tracking of new possible candidates in HRIS.
- Organize, maintain and update employee HRIS information as needed.
- Help with new-hire procedures, including organizing employee orientation, creating new employee files, administering employee handbooks, and ensuring all necessary paperwork is properly filled out and submitted to the appropriate person.
- Source potential candidates through online channels (e. g. social platforms and professional networks)Plan interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments and in-person interviews.
- Assess candidate information, including resumes and contact details, using our Applicant Tracking System.
- Design job descriptions and interview questions that reflect each position's requirements.
- Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events.
- Foster long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candidates.
- Find bottlenecks in the recruiting process.
- Suggest measures for improving employee retention.
- Attend career and college fairs, and similar events.
- Develop and maintain talent management processes.
- Monitor employee morale and company culture.
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience as Human Resource or similar HR role.
- Strong experience in managing both up and down the chain of command.
- Accepts responsibility and is accountable for actions.
- Ability to handle difficult situations with the highest standards of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Has high recruiting and interviewing skills. Be able to articulate non-discriminatory opinions with regards to hiring recommendations.
- Abide by company-enforced HR processes and current employment laws and regulations.
- Familiarity with social media, resume databases and professional networks (e. g. Stack Overflow and Github).
- Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods.
- Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs). Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A keen understanding of the differences between various roles within organizations.
- Experience in working with a background in Tech/SaaS.
- 2 years of experience as Human Resource Associate or similar HR role.
- In-depth knowledge of full-cycle recruiting and employer branding techniques.
