*The Ideal Candidate: *

Willing to adapt and learn new technologies and take on challenges

The ability to show initiative and work independently on tasks

Design and implement high-performance scalable user experiences

Excellent technical, troubleshooting and analytical skills

Tailor modules and plugin to meet business requirements on top of the underlying framework

Independently design, code, and test major features, as well as work jointly with other team members to deliver complex changes.

Enthusiastic towards brainstorming new projects

Can work and communicate effectively in a team for group projects

Proven ability to define and implement effective software development methodologies

Be able to problem-solve on the fly and time-manage tasks and prioritizations.

*Experience and Skills: *

Proficient in PHP language 7.0+ PHP is our main development language so deep experience with PHP language, common libraries, composer dependency management and PSR standards are a must

Ability to create a WordPress theme from scratch

Strong CSS skills (one or more of SCSS, SASS, LESS, etc)

Experience with Roots Sage would be nice to have

Experience working some of the well-known PHP frameworks such as Doctrine/Symfony/Laravel. Symfony is a bonus

Knowledge of web fundamentals to ensure the sites are responsive, browser compatible, bug free, accessible, and speed optimized

Solid understanding of design patterns
