Responsibilities
This position is responsible for leading client technical implementation work at adMind. This role’s main function is to support all internal teams with technical deliverables and technical implementations across many paradigms. Activities that are part of fulfilling the Head of Technical Implementation position are:
● Scoping, vetting, provisioning, deploying, and maintaining all technical deliverables company-wide.
● Providing recommendations for tools that we and our clients need to use to accomplish deliverables.
● Provide thought leadership for changes in web or cloud technology and support our ability to navigate these changes.
● Deliver simple to complex technical implementations for analytics tools, marketing pixels, data warehouse and data pipeline setups, site architecture, and more.
● Build and manage a team of technical implementation engineers, providing resourcing and scoping leadership where needed.
● Interface and consult with client technical teams representing technical marketing objectives.
● Collaborate on technical architecture around web and cloud-based deliverables.
● Manage all cloud architecture that supports both internal and analytics-based client infrastructure (e.g., Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud deployments)
Qualifications
● Strong understanding of JavaScript, Python, Java, SQL and more.
● Strong understanding of web architecture.
● Experience with API and Server architecture.
● Experience with cloud architecture (build and scope); AWS and GCP, Docker, etc.
● Strategic/conceptual understanding of Big Data; data warehouses, data pipelines, data transformation.
● Strong interpersonal skills, especially client-facing.
● Ability to navigate the business considerations of build vs. buy.
● Ability to jump into external code bases and come to understanding quickly.
You’ll stand out with:
● Previous experience in Google or Adobe analytics.
● Experience leading small to medium sized teams. For resourcing allocation, budgets, and more.
● Marketing background – including leading marketing efforts/implementing marketing efforts.
● Digital analytics analysis experience
● Degree in a related field (CS, IS, etc.)
● Strong understanding of Linux and command line shells
