As a Product Designer at Vizlib, you will work closely with our Senior Product Designer to discover how our products can support and redefine the data analytics and data visualisation process. This means: translating business and user needs into clear design concepts; creating flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals for product features; collaborating closely with our engineers to ensure high-quality implementation.
The Responsibilities
- You will work closely with other Designers and Product Managers and Developers to constantly audit and revise our assumptions and previous designs.
- Apply your design thinking and execution skills throughout the entire product lifecycle.
- Take a data-driven approach to communicate the user experience at various stages with wireframes, UX flows, low fidelity mock-ups, prototypes, information architecture and storyboards in a fast-paced environment.
- Deliver beautiful final visuals and interaction designs.
- Present and communicate an idea or concept to the team or wider business.
- Participate in design team-wide initiatives (workshops, design systems, improving design tools, team reviews, sharing, and brainstorms).
The Requirements
- 4yrs+ experience designing digital products and services, including user experience, interaction and user interface design, delivering solutions that have elevated customer and user experience.
- A diverse portfolio that includes design thinking, UX processes and UI design work.
- The ability to see how design detail and interaction fits into a wider customer experience and shape outputs on this basis.
- A general understanding of how design impacts development, along with constructing dynamic designs that are technically feasible.
- Experience in research and usability testing best practice, specifically in regards to user-centred design.
- Understanding of design process' and methodologies, with a desire to help shape ours.
