Senior Data Scientist (f/m/d)

We are looking for a senior data scientist who is excited to build algorithms and pipelines to create new datasets and improve existing ones - an important part of our product and fundamental to the long-term success of our company.

We mainly work with Python, SQL, Java + Spring, Javascript + React, PostgreSQL and Terraform. We are open to using other technologies.

Your responsibilities

• Conceptualize, build and maintain algorithms and ML models
• Build high-performance ETL pipelines and productionize existing algorithms
• Standardize code across pipelines & thoughtfully package reusable logic into libraries
• Create efficient data models & storage solutions for new datasets
• Upgrade existing data models and optimize existing database schemas
• Bonus: Build cloud infrastructure & distributed systems

Your experience

• 4+ years of relevant work experience
• Collaborating with small teams in fast-paced environments with little guidance
• Expert in data processing (e.g. Python, SQL, Rust, C/C++)
• Expert in statistics & machine learning (e.g. Tensorflow, PyTorch, etc.)
• Experience in productionizing models for critical pipelines
• Expert in working with real-world, unstructured data of various formats (not like on Kaggle)
• Bonus: Experience in procurement, manufacturing, or logistics
