SEO Specialist - Intern

We are looking for Junior Professionals OR Talented Freshers from premier schools to join our media services team. You will be working with the marketing manager and would be responsible for managing all SEO activities both on page as well as off page (backlinking, interlinking, writing suitable title and meta description, content promotion etc) for all of our digital assets.

The work will involve:

• Performing ongoing keyword research including discovery and expansion of keyword opportunities.
• Building backlinks from high quality websites.
• Performing content gap analysis
• Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.
• Research and implement search engine optimization recommendations.
• Reviewing/writing necessary content for the landing page.
• Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code.
• Monitor daily performance metrics to measure, assess and optimize SEO strategy

Requirement:

• Excellent command over written/spoken grammatically correct English.
• Up-to-date with latest trends and best practices in digital marketing.
• Understanding of digital marketing channels, tactics, analytics, and reporting.
• Basic knowledge of SEO tools (Ahrefs/Semrush/Screaming Frog) or analytics tools such as Google Analytics, MixPanel or similar is preferred.
• Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript, Wordpress & Canva/image manipulation.
• Background in running blog series, moderating user groups/forums, developing sticky user content is a plus.
