Your Role
We are looking for a Full-Stack Developer to become a core member of our team. As one of our first 4 hires you'll be a close partner to our full-stack CTO and will have a decisive say in shaping our products and technology.
And with great partnership comes great responsibility: You’ll have to be comfortable querying the database as well as tweaking the line-height. You’ll primarily be responsible for building and improving our GraphQL-based backend services but are keen on making sure the entire request from the UI to the database and back again is as solid, snappy and secure as possible.

Backend responsibilities

  • Building services that can handle intermittent bursts of demand.
  • Integrating with 3rd-party authentication/authorisation/SSO systems
  • Integrating with external APIs and services
  • Ensuring best-practices for performance and security

Frontend responsibilities
Interpreting designs, extracting assets and thinking on your feet
Applying design guidance in situations where designs aren’t pinned down.
Working with 3rd-party design guidelines combined with Workpin look-and feel for external plugins/integrations
Ensuring best-practices for accessibility, performance and security

Frontend Tech Stack

  • Vue

Bonus points, if you have any combination of these

  • 3+ years’ full-stack experience in high-quality consumer facing applications
  • 3+ years’ full-stack experience in enterprise grade SaaS software
  • Experience in a high growth environment, ideally at a startup
  • Experience in developing enterprise grade HR software
  • Experience in developing team collaboration and productivity tools
  • Knowledge of building B2C and B2B Marketplace Platforms
  • Knowledge of building location-based services such as mobility, mapping, navigation

Location
“Remote first” with regular team meet-ups - main team located in London, Edinburgh, Berlin & Amsterdam

Compensation
Starting from £60k / €69k annually + Stock Options
