Javascript Developer for 3D Dental Platform

Relu is a Leuven-based AI startup focused on activating AI in dental. We were founded two years ago by four engineers and value our young and enthusiastic team. We build applications for dental specialists across the globe using the latest advancements in artificial intelligence, 3D web and cloud technologies. But above all, we learn every day, take ownership of our projects, and get stuff done.

Our goal is to help specialists prepare their treatments digitally on virtual patients. To create these virtual patients, we have developed a web platform within which you can upload medical scans and automatically segment different anatomical structures (teeth, mandible, sinuses ...), create manual segmentations efficiently and visualise everything using different 2D and 3D views. This platform is currently being used by several renowned research groups in the dental field.

Here is what you will be doing in the day-to-day:

🦷Develop 3D web applications for dental and maxillofacial treatments
📝Spread good coding practices and provide feedback on other people's code
👫Work in a dynamic and growing team of frontend, backend and AI engineers
🤝Guide, mentor and coach other programmers

What we’re looking for in a senior Front-end engineer:

🕸Multiple years of experience with web technologies like Javascript, Vue.js, Nuxt.js, … Experience with 3D libraries such as babylon.js, vtk.js, webgl is a big plus.
🧪Experience with large software projects, Q.A. and test-driven development
🏛A solid understanding of software architecture
👩‍💻A computer science degree or equivalent
