Digital Health Software Engineer - drug discovery

At Oxcitas our mission is to unravel the biological mechanisms surrounding the remarkable anticancer abilities and extended lifespan of long-lived mole rats, including the blind subterranean mole rat or Spalax. By elucidating these mechanisms that evolution has created in Spalax, we are working to translate our findings into therapeutic interventions which tackle cancer, metabolic disorders and other diseases of ageing.

We are looking for a generalist Software Engineer to join our rapidly growing team in a collaborative and dynamic work environment.

This role is a permanent full-time role based in Cambridge, UK.

Responsibilities:

• Continuous Integration and Deployment
• Work closely with the Engineering and Product teams
• Improve automation pipeline and contribute to internal machine learning frameworks

Requirements:

• Strong programming experience in Python
• Good knowledge of algorithm design
• Experience in cloud computing environments (AWS/Azure/GCE)
• Interest in AI applications and healthcare
