Senior UI / UX Designer

Charles Design deeply cares about creating an inspiring conversational atmosphere. In your role as an User Interface & Experience Designer, you will be responsible for the look and feel of the charles conversational commerce software. You create, iterate, challenge and improve the charles design. You know the UI design trends out there and you want to find creative and smart ways to save an additional click and make our product thinking for its clients. You make sure that simplicity lives in harmony together with complexity.

• Conceptualize new features in collaboration with engineers and the product owner based on user stories and research.
• Create and iterate high fidelity user flows, wire frames, and mock-ups to make them ready for engineering
• Ensure consistency of interaction and visual elements across features via abstraction in our master design library
• Develop and challenge our design library, shape the look and feel of our software

• Solid UI Experience. You have around 5 years of experience in UI Design
• Tech understanding. You comprehend the product, technical and database constraints and stability/scalability factors in your designs
• Design thinking approach. You are able to break down complex contexts into smaller and solvable design challenges but you don't forget the whole picture when working through the details
• An eye for aesthetics and attention to detail.
• User-empathy obsession. You have demonstrated experience in creating innovative yet intuitive UI designs.
• Outstanding communication skills. You are able to communicate your ideas openly and clearly yet with empathy. You are fluent in English and German as a plus.
• Experience working in agile.
