Did you know 90% of the salt we eat is sourced from polluted seawater contaminated with microplastics and other toxins? Most don't.

Spring salt is hand harvested from a pristine spring tucked away in the Andes Mountains - far from human pollution. No microplastics, no toxins. Goodbye sea salt, hello spring salt.

There's only two main types of salt that are bought and sold around the world, sea salt and rock salt (Himalayan). What we sell is spring salt, a new variety of salt that hasn't yet been introduced to market - our goal is to make spring salt a household name.

We're a two person, fully remote cofounder team based out of Washington, DC & San Diego. We started building our brand in October of '19 and launched in June '20. You'll also be working remotely with us.

The Role

We're currently raising a $300k seed round and looking for someone to join our founding team and lead our marketing efforts - so that we can hit the ground running when our raise is over. Marketing strategy has been a major missing piece since we first launched.

Your job is to figure out how to sell and spread awareness about spring salt and the microplastic crisis. Some areas we need help strategizing and building out:

• Affiliate program
• Content marketing
• Partnerships with dtc brands
• Influencers, PR, Digital Ads
• Ideas you bring to the table

Salary and equity is negotiable. We plan on giving our new team member 5%-15% equity.

We need someone who can live and breathe our brand! Passionate about cooking and/or healthy living. And can relate to our audience of vegans, moms.

Experience

• 5+ years of marketing experience
• Ideally 3+ years of ecommerce experience
• Experience in the 'Better-For-You' space
• Experience in the CPG industry preferred
