Lead Backend Engineer

Intrro enables hiring teams to collaborate with emloyees to find and engage the best talent!

We do this by matching employee networks to open roles and also allow hiring teams to source across networks and ask for warm Intrro's directly in Slack.

We are about to embark on the next stage of growth where we plan to scale the business across North America and grow our top line revenue by 10X.

To allow us to achieve these ambitious goals we need to scale our Engineering team and thats hopefully where you come in. 😃

Job Responsibilities:

• Write and develop high-quality code
• Be obsessed with TDD
• Be able to work to an agile methodology
• Analyze user needs and develop software solutions
• Work with CTO & Product Team to scope new product requirements/features
• Recommend software upgrades to optimize operational efficiency
• Collaborate with other developers to design and optimize code
• Create flowcharts and user guides for new and existing programs
• Document all programming tasks and procedures
• Perform routine software maintenance

*QUALIFICATIONS *

• Masters or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience programming Node.js, React, MongoDB
• Experience in building robust web apps ideally SaaS

*SKILLS AND ABILITIES *

• Experience with MERN stack and appropriate development languages
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Eye for detail and identifying problems and solutions
• Self-motivated, able, and open to learning and professional development
• Strong analytical skills.
• Should be familiar with performance bottlenecks and ways to resolve them, multi-threading, OS concepts, System programming, Optimization etc.
• Very strong debugging skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong reporting and documentation skills.
• Result-oriented.
• Problem-solving and open-minded.
• Flexibility and ability to adapt to new technological changes as per project need.
